Relay.app is shutting down
Relay.app announced on July 16, 2026 that it is closing. Free accounts end on August 15, 2026 and paid accounts on September 14, 2026, with data permanently deleted after each date. That is Relay’s own announcement, published on relay.app.
Losing a tool you built real work on is genuinely annoying, and the deadline is the urgent part. Export your data first. We would rather you did that and then decided about us than the other way around.

Relay says paid customers keep access until then, with prorated refunds and bonus credits during the wind-down.

Export your data first
- 1Sign in to Relay.app while you still can. Free accounts lose access first, on August 15.
- 2Export your workflows, your run history, and your tables. Relay offers these as JSON and CSV downloads.
- 3Keep the run history, not just the workflows. It is the record of what actually ran and what it decided, and it is the part you cannot reconstruct later from memory.
- 4Store the files somewhere outside the tool you are leaving. A folder in your own drive is enough.
This is worth doing even if you pick a different tool than ours, and it stops being possible on the dates above.
If approvals were why you chose Relay
A lot of people picked Relay because an agent would draft, sort, or update something and then wait for a human to say yes. If that is what you are looking to replace, here is how Sprawl works.

What we are not going to pretend
- There is no Relay importer. Your exported JSON will not load into Sprawl. You describe what you want in plain English instead of rebuilding a flow step by step, which is a different job rather than a one-click move, and we would rather say so here than after you signed up.
- Sprawl is early. We are a young product and we are not going to invent customer counts or results to look bigger than we are. What we can point at is the product itself: try it before you trust it with anything that matters.
- Relay has not said why it is closing, so we are not going to speculate about it, and we are not going to use someone else’s shutdown to claim we will be around forever. You can see what we are running right now on our live status page and what we have shipped on the changelog.
