What are credits?
A credit measures the computing work Sprawl does in a run. Builder and setup chat are included at no charge on the default and curated models (up to 50 waived turns a day; pinning a premium catalog model meters normally from the first turn); a standard agent run costs about one credit; heavier runs like deep research or long multi-step automations cost more, and lighter runs cost less. Metering is exact and fractional — no minimums, no rounding up; a run only uses what it actually costs. Scheduled and event-triggered runs consume credits the same way. Paid-plan credits reset each monthly billing cycle, and you can top up any time with one-time credit packs (from $9.99 for 50 credits) in billing settings.
What happens if I run out of credits?

Security & Privacy
How much control do I have — does it act on its own?
You’re in control. Sprawl runs the routine work you trust it with and checks in with you on anything sensitive. Spending money, deleting data, and sending a first-time message to a new external contact always ask for your approval before they happen. You decide what runs on its own and what needs a green light, and you can change those rules per project at any time.
Is my data safe with Sprawl?
Yes. Sprawl uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest, and authentication is handled by Clerk, a trusted identity provider. Your conversations and run results are stored so you have a working history — but before anything is saved, financial and credential data (card numbers, bank details, passwords, API keys) is automatically redacted and contact details are truncated. You can delete conversations at any time, and deleted data is purged within 90 days.
Can Sprawl access all my data?
No. Sprawl only accesses the specific apps you explicitly connect and only performs the actions you request. Each integration requires your explicit OAuth consent, and you can disconnect any app at any time from your connections settings.
